Mark R. Snider

Mr. Snider has 28 years of technical Engineering, Marketing and Sales experience dedicated to multiple industrial production industries.  Radar & Space, Pulp and Paper, Industrial Systems (tire & rubber), Nonwoven, Textiles and Environmental industries are all included in his depth of experience and knowledge.

Mark began his technical career with Westinghouse Radar and supported companies like Computer Sciences (NASA), Space Craft, MicroMedic Systems, Superior Steel, Dupont, Procter & Gamble and Kimberly Clark. Mark has also owned and operated his own engineering company and has supported the Nonwovens and Textile business sectors for the past 20 years.

Mr. Snider has held senior level assignments in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Project Planning with global machinery manufacturers and has thorough knowledge of Medical, Industrial, Hygiene, Paper and Consumer products related to the Technical Textiles industries. In his role as European and Latin American Regional Manager, Mark has demonstrated successful global account performance for the European, Latin and North American regions and recently completed an assignment as Project Manager responsible for moving and startup of two major production machines to China.

Technical Marketing is Mr. Snider’s forte and he has an affinity for strategic and statistical research. As a consultant, Mark has assisted many companies to develop and improve their marketing/sales strategy and to analyze their specific market segments. Understanding company business models coupled with international, cultural and organizational dynamics have helped him to relate well to a variety of personalities and cultures, assisting companies to develop their global business potential. His latest statistical report and forecast covering the nonwovens industry in China is being marketed and sold globally by INDA, the leading North American Trade Association for Technical Textiles.

Marks’ ability to cut through traditional organizational barriers and intuitively relate to both management and staff, have enabled him to nurture the human element of business, often troubleshooting the root causes of sub-standard performance. With a reputation for creative thinking, he often pursues alternative and diversified paths to obtain client success.

Mark has a sincere and open-minded business style and supports sustainable/environmental initiatives in his development directives. Mark is an avid fly-tier/trout fisherman and enjoys art, music, cooking and fine wine.

Mr. Snider studied as an undergraduate at the University of Alabama school of Engineering and Auburn University School of Industrial Design and is credited with over 31 published white papers covering diverse technical subjects from nanofiber science to filtration performance enhancement, process applications and project management. Mark is also recognized as an experienced speaker and has presented at many international technical conferences, the most recent being the 2008 INTC Technical conference in Houston Texas and the 2007 LINK conference in Mubai India where he served as Chairman of the conference.
